We will laugh and dance, snuggle and play games. I want to capture your connection and love as a family. I will always get the “looking at the camera” posed photo, but my favorites are the ones when you are being yourselves, giggling and looking into each others eyes. I know family pictures can be stressful- and I want to eliminate that as much as possible! We let kids be kids- whether kicking rocks and collecting sticks, or simply needing to be held by mama. These sessions are usually about 1 hour long. We will typically shoot around sunset, weather permitting. You will receive a minimum of 20 hand edited, high resolution images uploaded to a digital gallery. Sessions are $350+tax

There’s something so special about a woman’s body carrying a baby. It is one of the greatest miracles, and it’s one of my absolute favorite things to witness. I carried 3 babies myself, and regret not documenting them all. Maternity sessions are best done when mama is between 28-36 weeks. I welcome spouses and other children to be involved in these sessions. We will typically shoot for an hour, close to sunset. These sessions include a minimum of 20 hand edited high resolution images uploaded to a digital gallery. Sessions are $350+ tax

Studio Sessions are typically done on weekday mornings around 10am at my in home studio located off of 1st Ave and River Rd. Studio sessions include Maternity, Newborn, and baby sessions. If you are looking to book a different type of studio session, please reach out. Sessions start at $350+ tax.

Milestone sessions include 6 month sitter sessions and year old cake smash sessions! I looove watching these sweet babes grow, and capturing some of those baby features before they are gone. Sessions start at $300+tax. (I will include a handmade naked cake for smash sessions for $20 extra)

Babies are my faaaavorite. I absolutely LOVE getting to witness the emotions and wonder around a new baby. Fresh 48 sessions are called this as they are done within the first 48 hours after a baby is born, conditions permitting. With these sessions, I come to wherever you deliver your baby. We will spend about an hour together, and we will capture the early moments when your little one enters the world. Fresh 48 sessions include a minimum of 20, hand-edited, high resolution images uploaded to a digital gallery. $350+tax

I absolutely love the beautiful time when a baby enters a family. These sessions are done in the comfort of your own home. We pick a space together that works best for light and for comfort. I capture the newness the baby brings to the family- cuddles and snuggling, feeding etc, and then if time and baby allow it, do some wrapped posed shots (although this is not guaranteed in this type session). These sessions are typically 2-3 hours long, and include a minimum of 20, hand-edited, high resolution images uploaded to a digital gallery. $350+tax

Hiya. My name is Lea, and I’m the eye behind Elle O Studio. I’m a music loving, coffee drinking introvert who loves to dance and act crazy. When I’m not mommin’ it to my 3 wild kiddos, or looking through a lens, I’m working with my sister for her jewelry business- Sigfus Designs. I’m married to the most amazing and supportive man ever, and he pushes me everyday to be a better me. San Diego is our favorite place and you will probably see quite a few photos from our journeys there.

I learned to use a film camera from my mama when I was 14 years old. She was a watercolor artist who took photos to paint. She felt it was the perfect creative outlet for me, and she was right. But it took me having kids to really appreciate a camera. It took me being able to capture the little in-between moments that really spoke to my soul. I value the ability to look through photos and go back into time; to smell the salty sea air, to feel a babies soft skin on mine, to hear loud giggles and soft cries. Capturing those little moments are what fuel me. Watching you brush her hair off her face, wiping his boogers, seeing the way you look at each other when no one is watching. Those are the moments.

They are the reason.

Any items in my Client Closet are available to borrow for your session. I launder the items after each use, so there is no need to wash before you send them back to me. We meet prior to the session so you can try on anything to see what you like. If you have any items to donate to the closet, please let me know!
